Tristan graduated from kindergarten yesterday. They walked into the room wearing graduation caps while their teacher Mrs. Hughes sang the graduation march. It was so cute, all those beaming 5 and 6 year old's. Once they were all seated, a few kids had the opportunity to show of the skills they learned this year. skip counting, reading, writing and singing. Tristan was in a small group singing the song "123" by Tim Mcgraw. Tristan is seen with Reagan, his first kindergarten girl friend. They sat next to each other on the first day of school.

The Viola
Samantha started playing the viola this school year (fourth grade). Her orchestra teacher tells us that she is very talented (we already knew that) . She performed three times at school and did great. At the most recent concert this month, the forth grade beginners class was so much better than the older kids. They all played the theme from Phantom of the Opera, and the only part you could hear was the forth graders. Other than that the song was unrecognizable. LOL She also played at Tristan's student of the month in april. I don't know how it worked out this way but they played the theme to Star Wars. Perfect for my little Jedi. LOL Samantha's friend Hannah has been with her since the 1st grade. She is a great friend and always lifts Sam up when she is feeling insecure. Thanks Hannah!
The Two Wheeler
This winter Tristan learned how to ride a two wheeler. I wish i could take the credit but it actually goes to boy named Carter who is the same age as Tristan. LOL. We were at his house for dinner one night and he started riding his bike in the street. Tristan decided to try it too and off he went with the help of Chris holding the bike to start. It took him a few days to get the starting on his own thing down, but all in all he pretty much did it himself. We are so proud. LOL
